About me

I have recently graduated with either a high 2:1 or First Class Honours Degree in Interior Design from The University of Huddersfield. During this course I completed a 1 year work placement in industry which I achieved working for IKEA as an Interior Designer between August 2004 - August 2005.

I am currently in the process of relocating to Manchester and will be seeking to develop my career in this region. I am preferably looking for employment as an Interior Designer (Junior role), Space Planner or CAD Technician, although I am willing to work at any level or within any role related to design at this stage.

My degree course has given me the opportunity to progress and develop various skills involving numerous CAD packages including Autocad, Sketch up and Photoshop, as well as allowing me to explore and present my creativity and flair for both commercial and residential interior design.

I have excellent technical ability as a result of 2 years' studying building practice as part of my degree course. This also gave me a solid understanding of building regulations.
