I left the armed forces after a promising career of six and a half years. During my time in the forces I moved heavy loads and constructed bridges, which also involved cross hauling and moving uneven loads.

I have chosen a career in the rigging and heavy lifting industry. At present, I am contracted to Kimberly-Clark through Schofield construction as a rigger, lifting and slinging operator. On a daily basis I use a number of lifting techniques and lifting equipment that coincide with the Lifting Operations and Equipment Regulations (LOLER, 1998). I have recently obtained my Forklift driver licence with several attachments and overhead crane certificate.

I completed my Opito Rigging and Lifting Operations and my BOSIET sea survival course.
