Dear Sir/Madame

I am writing to enquire whether you have a vacancy in your company for a junior Graphic Designer. I enclose a copy of my CV for your consideration.

As you will see from my CV, I am currently working for Copyprint and my role within this company is Junior graphic designer and production assistant. In my present position i liase with clients to produce artwork and once they are happy with the designs i set them up for print. I create the artwork and then follow it through to the print stage which means while i am producing the artwork i am also thinking

about how the end result will look once it has been printed and has gone through finishing. I have learnt the print process which has helped me to see how important it is to know how to produce artwork so that it is print ready inorder to get the best finish. I would now like to have a more design based role so that i can better my design skills and work in a design based environment.

I studied Graphic design at West Kent College and Greenwich University and have obtained a NationalDiploma and a Higher National Diploma. I am prosufficient on an Apple Mac computer and have a good working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and can use Quark.

I have a keen eye for detail and the drive to keep improving. I love to work and interact with the general public. I work well in a team and thrive under pressure. I still have a lot to learn and in order to learn all that i can i am willing to start from the bottom and work my way up. I have the determination to work hard in order to better my skills.
