About me

Regarding work experience, I have been in the post of furniture designer for almost three years. This opportunity has enabled me to further deepen my knowledge of high-end residential project for both contemporary and traditional design, as well as technical construction, materials and spatial planning, previously built up in posts over six years in Japan, where I worked on several interior and furniture design projects for middle-classed housing. For instance, I have developed my skill of work drawing as well as developing unconventional details by being able to talk through my furniture drawings at the workshop with the production manager and cabinetmaker.

My level of technical proficiency has enabled me to demonstrate accuracy as well as punctuality when working to tight timescales. This was particularly evident when I created a simple 3D model with animation of a whole house by Sketch up, and in producing several presentation sheets for other clients using Auto Cad 2009, Rhino 3D, Illustrator and Photoshop, all this also indicating that I can adapt to any software quickly. On top of all this, I am able to make a favourably quick impact on clients due to my hand sketching skills, being able to produce well-presented hand drawings to facilitate the clear conveying of my ideas.
