About me
Daniel Shehata is an award-winning writer and director. At a very early age he discovered his passion for Tim Burton's Batman (1989) which ultimately made him study English and American Studies at UIBK where he focused on script writing. Daniel graduated with distinction from a Master's Program for film directing at DMU / London's Raindance Film School in 2022 and won the Best Postgraduate Student Prize. His award-winning debut project The Nautilus Mutiny (2022) is a standalone - neo noir - proof of concept showing his unique vision for a film that deals with the crazy world of luxury watch collecting.
At the moment, Daniel is working on multiple feature films (Modern Audience (dramedy), Loud Target (action), Pentonville (crime drama)) in various stages.
