About me
You will see from my Curriculum Vitae that I am presently working in the Aviation sector. Prior to this I worked as a project manager, responsible for the launch of websites for the Herald & Post newspaper, Luton and the Peterborough Evening Telegraph. My role with the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, was as group manager for the development of the whole East Midlands division, some sixty plus newspapers. I was also divisional representative for the East Midlands group at the Johnston press steering group who developed policy and development of websites for over three hundred and sixty newspapers.
Whilst working with Herald and Post, I also wrote a weekly newspaper article informing readers on a variety of internet subjects, such as safe serving, email accounts and the use of search engines etc.
Since leaving these positions I have maintained my interest in web design and internet technologies, keeping my hand in by developing a couple of personal websites. The Gaffney family website is a scrapbook journal of our holidays in the lake district, and the lesboiges website was developed to help promote by brothers rental property in France. To build these sites I have used Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop, as well as hand coding HTML.
I have had extensive experience of product development, customer support and B2B delivery, both within the web field and newspaper advertising.
