About me
My name is Christopher Dorian, my background comes from the production area of the Media Sector. I have a BA in Media & Advertising and previously I have worked for the visual communications company, VisualMedia. The company provides photography and video for Corporate and PR Clients to accompany press releases distributed to the national media.
My job role was Studio Assistant, a post-production role for the company. During my time there I worked for Scott Shillum, former national newspaper picture editor through which I gained strong experience in photo retouching and editing using Adobe Photoshop CS3. When the company expanded into the video market I stepped up to the plate and rapidly gained further video editing experience. This was all achieved through the guidance and experience of Elliot Choueka, former producer/director of BBC's The Money Programme, who was Director of Video services for VisualMedia at the time. I have gained a wealth of knowledge in Video and Photography, both from an editorial as well as creative perspective and have also learned about the importance of the administrative side.
Previous clients I have done post-production work for within this period included Intercontinental Hotels Group, BT, Cadburys, Barclays plc and various others. I have worked alongside a number of photographers as well as experienced video editors and feel I have gained a wealth of knowledge as to the workings of sector and the demands of PR agencies and clients.
