ABOUT
This project presents a dark fantasy seamless pattern inspired by Slavic folklore and the myth of the Strzyga — a haunting, dual-souled creature rooted in Eastern European mythology.
The design combines an ornamental composition with hand-painted textures, creating a rich and atmospheric visual language suitable for apparel and textile applications. The pattern was developed with repeatability in mind, making it ideal for use on clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories, as well as for broader surface design purposes.
The artwork explores themes of mystery, duality, and the eerie beauty of dark folklore, blending illustrative detail with a decorative structure that works both as a standalone visual and a repeating print.
Tools: Digital painting (Krita / Photoshop)
