Spider VFX insert for a live-action sequence, featuring a fully CG 3D spider integrated across multiple shots. The work covered modelling, look development, animation, rendering, compositing, depth-of-field integration, lighting and texture matching, and final shot polish to make the creature sit naturally within the plate.

The aim was to keep the effect subtle and believable, supporting the mood of the scene without pulling focus from it. In other words, the spider needed to feel like it belonged there all along, which is usually when VFX is doing its job properly.
