Duncan is the Founder and Managing Director of CellarDoor, an award-winning creative agency specialising in Hospitality, Food & Beverage and Leisure with over 20 years experience creating brand worlds for global brands and startups alike.
The self-proclaimed 'Steve Kerr of branding', he advocates a studio culture that aims to collide strategy and insight with creativity and rigour, working collaboratively and across disciplines to producing work that makes a difference and has impact.
Founded in 2012, the agency initially focused on brand design and strategy, later introducing interior architecture and spatial design as discipline in 2021, growing a team of architects and interior designers to work alongside the brand team with a vision of build brands and experiences that live in the real world.
Duncan has worked extensively within hospitality across the UK and the Middle East, supporting brands, their founders and business leaders to achieve commercial goals. This includes
- 10 years working with Caffe Nero as global brand partner.
- Creating new challenger brands like Pickl and BONBIRD, taking from a concept to over 50 restaurants across MENA.
- Supporting established brands like HONEST burgers to tell their story & develop their customer experience.
- Managing a cross discipline team of architects, designers, illustrators, copywriters, animators and 3D artists.
