For the 2024 Sitges film Festival, our friends at Snoop agency, asked us to collaborate in this campaign from Moritz beer, one of the main festival sponsors.The concept, The Moritz Freak Show, was born as a homage to Tod Browning’s cult classic Freaks, the central theme of this year’s festival. Our challenge was to "mutate" the iconic Moritz bottle into a cast of circus curiosities—The Giant, The Two-Headed, and The Empty Bottle.To achieve this, we utilized a meticulous Engraving and Woodcut style, using high-contrast cross-hatching and vintage line art to evoke the aesthetic of 19th-century freak show posters. The result is a series of "freak" bottles that blend artisanal tradition with the eerie, cinematic spirit of Sitges film Festival.
