About me
Joe Lewis is the Head of Audio and Leadership Team Lead at The Voiceover Gallery. He joined the company in 2021, where he has played an important role in the development of TVG's audio department. Since joining, his experience and approach have helped the studio take on a broader range of higher-value and more complex projects, contributing to the steady growth of its audio offering.
With over 20 years of experience in audio post-production, Joe began his career training as a classical guitarist at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama before working as a media composer. He later moved into audio editing, sound design, and mixing for commercials, documentaries, and broadcast content, building a strong technical and creative foundation. Joe also holds an MA in Audio Production from the University of Westminster.
As Head of Audio, Joe oversees studio operations and works closely with clients, producers, and voice talent to ensure consistently high production standards. He is also recognised for his thoughtful leadership around emerging technologies, and in 2025 has frequently provided commentary on modern audio challenges, including the ethical use of AI in voiceovers and the evolving digital demands of subtitling and dubbing for Gen Z audiences.
