ABOUT
BRAND & PRODUCT
Blossom is a brand of menstrual cups was created by women for women who are inspired by caring for the Earth and firmly believe that we need to break the terrible taboo, and start talking about the monthly cycle. It calls woman to “WAKE UP FROM OUR SLUMBER” to move from ignorance about the female body and the toxic effects of traditional personal care products to an awareness of these issues, and to join their journey to preserve the environment.
OBJECTIVES
The goal was to rethink the traditional clinical or overly feminine aesthetics in the field of intimate care and to emphasize our bodies as part of nature and the cosmos, as part of the living world. It shares the same cyclical nature as all living things in this world and requires appropriate, organic care that causes no harm to either the body itself or the world in which it exists.
SOLUTION
To bring BLOSSOM to life, I developed an otherworldly, organic visual language centered on a fragile, otherworldly embodiment of femininity. Through androgynous forms, ethereal lighting, and poetic symbolism of metamorphosis, the brand’s signature style transforms a functional product into a powerful story of female rebirth and evolution. In the packaging design, conceptual illustrations reflected main awakening metaphor blend with fututistic compositions and elements that feels both alien and deeply intimate, creating a cohesive system that invites a call to rethink how we care for our bodies.
