About me

I graduated 2 years ago with a BA Graphic Design qualification, after that I undertook placements in London and endeavoured to find employment within the London job space before settling locally for the best part of a year.

In my currently role I act as the sole designer mainly dealing with brand identity. At this stage I feel that I need to progress my career, compared with my placements, work is undertaken with little support, despite this I feel that I've gained the necessary work skills such as collaborating with developers, dealing with printers and managing client expectations, I wish to raise the level of my creativity skill by working alongside other designers and team members.

I believe that undertaking any project, strong ideas are formed by working as a collective, brainstorming and familiarising yourself with the semiotics of the project. The process is something that I miss from my placements which were followed by mini critiques which I consider generates a constructive, honest and professional environment.

I consider myself to be a capable junior designer ready and willing,

I believe that working predominantly on my own has made me proficient in the working environment but at this career stage I see myself thriving more on creativity, to learn, be mentored and gain inspiration from my peers.
