ABOUT

Concept:
The visual concept for "Eat It Up" was designed to capture the frantic, high-octane energy of the garage and electronic dance track. The film subverts traditional, glossy rap video tropes by building a playful narrative around ego, chaos, and composure inside a sleek restaurant kitchen environment where a full-blown food war spirals out of control.

Execution:
Produced by Ocurens, the video was executed across an intensive nine-hour shoot encompassing over 50 individual setups. I collaborated closely with Director of Photography Matt Butler to establish a rich, cinematic texture utilizing Kodak Vision3 500T film profiles punctuated by warm restaurant lighting and tight, rhythmic camera choreography. In the post-production stage, the frame pacing was meticulously locked by editor Ipek Kadri to sync seamlessly with Skepsis's rapid bass drops and electronic transitions.

Results:
The project achieved critical acclaim across the European music film landscape upon release. Notably, the video won Best Dance/Electronic Video (Newcomer) at the 2025 UK Music Video Awards (UKMVA) and secured a festival nomination for Best Editing.
