About me

I, Pranay Ranka am seeking a position of an Architectural Assistant (Part II). I have graduated with a master's degree in Product Design at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (Birmingham City University) and Bachelors in Architecture (B.Arch) from Pune University (India).

I have worked with Orbit Architects Limited, London since May 2008. During this time I have worked on concept design, feasibility studies, furniture design and making drawings for planning applications. I have worked in India on a variety of projects ranging from small refurbishments to large scale housing schemes. My key responsibilities areas were- concept design, design development, client, contractors and vendor liaison, site visit and observation of progress of work, coordination of structural and electrical Drawings.

I have over 6 years of hands on experience working on AutoCAD and presentation software like CorelDraw, Photoshop, InDesign and PowerPoint. In addition I am well versed with modeling tools like Rhino and Sketch-Up

My comprehensive education and experience in architecture, awareness and knowledge about product design are suitable for a part2 assistant.
