ABOUT
I was commissioned by Psychologie Magazine to create a series of editorial illustrations for a feature exploring stress and nervous system regulation. The challenge was to communicate complex psychological concepts in a way that felt accessible and inviting.
I developed flowing, layered forms that move through both figures and landscapes, representing the invisible effects of stress on the body and mind. The illustrations balance tension and movement with moments of stress impact.
The illustrations were entirely hand drawn in Procreate using custom brushes and textures. A vibrant palette of blues, greens, pinks, and warm neutrals was used to create a sense emotional energy. The artwork was created as a cohesive series to support multiple sections of the feature while maintaining a consistent color palette throughout the publication.
The final illustrations were published as a multi page feature.
