About me

I began my career as a freelance designer in the mid 1980s, working on music and pop culture projects before joining IPC Magazines. I was then headhunted by the BBC to help launch its youth publishing division and developed the corporation's first ever weekly magazine, Fast Forward.

After five years at the BBC, I went back to freelancing and diversified into food branding, working with clients such as Holsten, Jose Cuervo and Yorkshire Soup.

Now based in Wiltshire, I have worked with the Guild of Fine Food for more than 15 years as the company's art director - across its print titles and digital platforms - with a particular focus on raising and maintaining the visual profile of major activities such as Great Taste and the World Cheese Awards.

I'm now seeking fresh opportunities to bring my broad design experience to new clients.
