Latoya Wilson is a development executive, script editor, and script consultant with over 10 years of industry expertise across UK and international drama, comedy, factual, and children's entertainment. She has worked on acclaimed projects for BBC, Netflix, Sky, Showtime, Amazon, Channel 4, and Apple TV, collaborating with top-tier writers, producers, and production companies to develop compelling, high-quality storytelling. Recognised as one of TV Collective's 50 Breakthrough Leaders for 2024, Latoya is committed to shaping the future of the TV industry by championing diverse voices and driving innovative storytelling.
A graduate of the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS) with a Script Development Diploma, Latoya is passionate about helping writers find their voice. Latoya set up The Rewrite Room, her script consultancy where she provides in-depth story development, script coverage, and editorial feedback to writers, producers, and production companies, ensuring their projects reach industry standards and commercial viability.
Dedicated to nurturing emerging talent, Latoya has been a script reader and judge for major national competitions, film festivals, and screenwriting initiatives, including the BFI and BBC Writersroom.
