About me
I'm an award-winning filmmaker with almost 30 years' experience of creating people led factual content for ambitious clients and agencies across the public and private sectors in the UK and internationally.
My career began in broadcast, directing and producing short form content on film and tape, before moving into digital at the BBC and helping shape some of the UK's earliest online video platforms. How we consume video content is continually evolving, but throughout my journey, one thing has remained constant: my belief that good storytelling starts with people.
I enjoy meeting contributors, understanding what motivates them and using that insight to craft content that connects, inspires and drives positive change.
At Digitom, our approach is rooted in clarity, empathy and purpose. We specialise in factual human interest storytelling - whether for communications, recruitment, training, sustainability or brand building. Each project begins with understanding the audience and the desired outcome, then using our editorial experience to shape a creative treatment that delivers outstanding results for our clients. No two projects are ever the same, but it's that variety which keeps the work fresh.
As a microbusiness, we're agile and adaptable, collaborating with a close knit team of trusted professionals I've worked with for many years. This allows us to scale production efficiently, maintain high production values, and deliver a broad range of people-led content on time and on budget.
Much of our work comes through referral and repeat clients, which I take as a genuine compliment to our process, our values and the experience of working together.
I'm passionate about content that has purpose - stories about people, communities, sustainability, and the world around us. I also contribute to the wider creative community as a judge for industry awards, a Business Advisory Board member, and by supporting organisations to build their own video capability through training teams to create their own social media content.
