About me
Hello, my name is Lilibelle Anthony, and I'm an artist who works purely on a traditional scale, often preferring to work in very fine detail with either biro pen or fine liner. My main focus throughout my life has mainly been on the macabre and beautiful, but as I've been developing a love of exaggerated proportions, I've enjoyed inserting a dark sense of humour in the mix. I am drawn to characters that are equal parts grotesque and beautiful and live in a universe of chaos and mayhem, my main childhood inspiration being the combined skillset of artist Dave McKean, and nowadays the revolting thrills of cartoonists such as ralph Steadman.
Depending on what mood I'm in, anything can inspire me, from songs I hear, to people I see on the street, to films and tv shows I watch, but amongst all of it lies my shining love for the horror genre.
My main hobby outside of drawing is photography.
