Scholars Film Cape Town + Durban

ABOUT

Following on from the success of the Certified Care campaign for SC Johnson, Scholars Film was tasked by Ogilvy Chicago with continuing to bring the powerful stories of impact and advancement in the healthcare sectors to life in an meaningful and memorable way.

SCJ Johnson, the makers of Raid, in partnership The Society of Family Health, Rwanda and the Republic of Rwanda Ministry of Health are working together to build a network of health posts that prevent, diagnose and prevent malaria.

Before Health Posts, the Rwandan population often had to walk hours to reach over crowded medical care to receive treatment for deadly malaria. Now they can find high quality care within their own village. This is the story of many Rwandan’s, with a focus on one woman. Through her story and that of others, the film shows how the Health Posts have transformed lives.

CLIENT REVIEW

This was my second project working with Scholars Film and as I type this review I am currently working with them on our 3rd together, with a 4th planned. Top notch in every aspect, from the people / teams they bring on as crew to our amazing director Colwyn Thomas who does whatever it takes to get the shot right. They are beautiful filmmakers, creative problem solvers and we always get gorgeous, film-worthy footage.
