ABOUT

This self-initiated World Cup 2026 visual turns the most iconic object in football into the people who give it meaning. Instead of showing players on a ball, the players become the ball itself, locked together in one impossible mass of bodies, nations, pressure, rivalry, glory and expectation. The idea comes from a simple truth: football is never just about the object being kicked around the pitch. It carries childhood, identity, memory, fandom, ego, joy and failure. The image was co-created with AI, using generative tools to explore the impossible structure, composition and physicality of a football made from human bodies. The final piece was then rebuilt and refined in Photoshop, with work on textures, faces, uniforms, light, grass, shadows, skin, seams and overall realism, so the image could move from an AI-generated experiment into a finished crafted visual. For a tournament that belongs to the whole world, the ball becomes a living symbol of everything we project onto the game. A ball made from the bodies that chase it, shape it, suffer for it and become remembered through it.
