About me

I currently work as a Senior Mac Artworker in the reprographics department of Colin Clapp Hoddesdon. My main responsibilities are to produce high quality artwork for direct mail, to liase with the sales and production departments to ensure that tight deadlines are met and to report to the reprographics manager. I enjoy meeting designers and editors and working with them to achieve the exact results that they demand.

I have gained full and extensive knowledge of the print industry including colour management and origination, and also of scanning. I supervise the work of the junior's in the department and am responsible for ensuring that all the artwork that is produced is of a high quality in line with the briefs that we have been given.

My job frequently involves taking over the role of Reprographics Manager when he is away on courses, visits, meetings and holidays. This is a responsibility which I enjoy and thrive on and is my main motivation in applying for the position within your company. My current employers provide me with a package in the region of £26K and I would be seeking to improve on this in my new role.

I am also eager to work more locally to home with a company that offers a real chance for developing my knowledge and potential for developing my career.
