About me

I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge, with an Upper Second BA in English Literature. Studying for this degree, in which I examined an extremely wide range of written media of all types, I honed and cultivated the ability to proof spelling, grammar and syntax to the greatest level of accuracy, and with a high rate of speed.

Furthermore, I recently worked as the Head of Editing at an academic editing company, a position in which I was constantly responsible for ensuring that all work passed onto clients was of a consummate standard, containing no errors of any kind. This experience only served to further hone my capacity for proofreading roles.

I am currently available to undertake proofreading and copy-writing across a wide range of fields. Primarily, anything in the publishing, education, design, or related sectors would be well within my abilities to complete. I am familiar with technical terminology within a large range of fields, including arts (music, literature, art criticism), philosophy, some sciences and some legal areas, and am willing to conduct independent research in order to acquaint myself further with technicalities, should it be necessary.
