About me
Conceptual models play a key role in all my projects. Not only are they exploring spatial ideas within the fabric of the environment but they are made of off the cuff materials honest to that particular environment. These concepts and ideas could then be taken and practised. So the essence of the practise would be conceptual thinkers for architects, designers, landscape architects, property developers and also for self builds. To act as guidance and on the best interest of the environment. An example showing spatial ideas through concept models, similar to that of the work by architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg who liked to work " between natural and artificial, and the phenomenological aspects of architecture"
In the way these models manifest and change in a design process is similar to the process of the vernacular 'one man build' In that its trial and error and uses ones instinct. "sometimes these conceptual pieces are exhibited alongside architectural models as if to suggest that they all issue from the same alchemical laboratory."
As for being involved in a practise, it would could consist as a multidisciplinary office that may have landscape architects, artists, photographers, furniture makers that would all work together to provide a high standard of concepts with an aspiration and realisation to develop work on a high standard.
