About me

I am a recent university Graduate, I currently assist a Photographer based in Bristol and have done for over a year and a half. I have assisted on many Studio and Location shoots, my favourite being in the studio. These shoots have been Lifestyle shoots and Room sets both of which I have learnt so much from. I have not only learnt about equipment and lighting set ups, but the environment of working on a set and what is expected from an assistant.
My knowledge of equipment and lighting are not my strongest but I believe my desire to learn and get involved means I can pick up new skills quickly. I am good a picking something up the first time being told but also asking if I don't understand something.
I really enjoy meeting new people and adapting to different styles of shooting, I am really eager to learn and understand the mechanics of creating an image. I enjoy Room sets because I love getting involved and feel it is really rewarding seeing the set come to life and even more exciting seeing the images at the end. I also enjoy some of the more mundane jobs such as making coffee and cleaning up, I like to be busy as I find it helps at the end of the day to finish up on time.
