ABOUT
The Artist in B&W
Down on the quayside — is it dirty, grimy and dusty? Well, yes, so is it a great location for eye and camera. Shapes, forms, textures and details are in abundance. Very quickly one no longer notices the grime and grease — there is so much to photograph. And it’s all rather graphic and singularly creative if applied with keen composition, selective focus and ‘minus’ full colour. It’s gotta be shot in black & white to get rid of the realism!
