Surface Pattern Designer for Home Decor
I am an experienced professional in my 50s, currently expanding my artistic career into freelance gigs as a digital designer. My main areas of expertise include creating surface patterns for textiles/fabrics, and graphic illustrations for retail and home decor products. Additionally, I specialise in designing ceramics with unique surface patterns. I have recently embarked on transforming my 3 year old art gallery, into a remote digital design hub.
I cater to a diverse clientele, which includes interior designers, retail manufacturers, brand agents, printers, and home owners looking for interior design. I showcase my pattern portfolio on platforms such as Spoonflower and Society 6, as well as my own website.
In the coming months I will transition the gallery into an interior decor showcase in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Prior to my art and design career, I accumulated over 20 years of experience in senior marketing and management roles within large corporations such as Siemens. My expertise spans across various areas, including marketing, graphic design, branding, SEO, advertising, education, and business process management. I bring a high level of professionalism, focus, and task-oriented approach to my work, ensuring that I consistently deliver quality designs within the specified timeline.
