About me

I currently working as a web producer at Torchbox Ltd, a small web agency who concentrate on design and development for charity and healthcare sector clients. As the bridge between clients and the development and design teams, it is my responsibility to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time.

Previous to this I was Assistant Web Officer within the Public Affairs

Directorate at Oxford University, a position which entails a wide

range of technical, design, project management and interpersonal

skills. In addition over-seeing the day-to-day management of the

Undergraduate and Graduate studies websites, I am also responsible for

designing and updating many of the University's high-level sub-sites.

I have also led several successful web projects. These include the

launch of the University's RSS news feed service, the design and

coding of the University's online bursaries calculator and the

University's Vision for Sport website. I have recently completed a

project designing the website for Oxford University's first ever

university-wide alumni reunion.

Prior to this, in September 2003, I completed a Masters Degree in

Electronic Communications and Publishing at University College London;

a course which encompassed a wide variety of web publishing skills,

from design, usability, and accessibility issues, to coding, scripting

and programming of interactive web pages.
