According to the University of Manchester, numbers are continuing to increase in male suicides (4,188 male suicides in England 2023), statistics showing 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and diagnosis of testicular cancer increasing (The University of Manchester, 2024).

Men often hesitate to discuss mental health issues, leading to untreated conditions like depression, anxiety, and stress. Men face challenges of societal stigma, perception of weakness, and lack of open communication which can deteriorate their mental health.

Therefore, men worldwide grow a mustache to raise awareness, to reach masses, to talk about their issues, and women, not many though, step up to support them, speaking up about the culture of ignoring men and making them more of tools and not seeing in them human beings with their complexity and problems they're facing.
