My communication skills have been developed through extensive travel and having lived and worked in widely different cultures.

I am able to empathise and communicate diplomatically, professionally and effectively.

My career path has closely followed in the sphere of media, research and communications. When working as a translator and editor on the Spanish desk of the International Press Cuts department of the Financial Times I gained journalistic experience whilst involved in investigative research for our international clients (including Reuters, CNN, and Microsoft). Working from a directive from our clients, I supplied specialist information which was presented in a number of formats ranging from articles, press cuts and press releases.

The ability to evaluate situations and people and to manage information is intrinsic to a job in communications. Working for a large private investment bank in the research department, as Senior Editor, in collaboration with 58 analysts, the ability to assess and act on information and to judge the necessary actions to take was vital to the effective function of the department and company as a whole; especially when dealing with sensitive information. I edited all research, statements and documents as well as the Annual Report (500 pages) to the point of print.
