About me

I am a keen and hard working 19 year old with a thirst for gaining and developing my knowledge in the media. I currently have a part time/casual job at the barbican centre which has inspired me to pursue this job position. In the future I plan to study film production although I also plan to study photography as well. I do not have skill in photography although I am very willing and determined to achieve my hardest and commit fully.

I am currently a Customer Service Advisor At the Barbican Centre, with extensive experience in communications as my main role requires me to resolve enquiries and complaints face - face and over the phone and therefore I would say that I am confident in this position. I have had 2 years of experience dealing with customers whilst under stressful situations, informing customers of campaign promotions and merchandise and handling cash/card/cheque payments.

I feel this has led me to be more enthusiastic and friendly and I am able to perform better within a vibrant working atmosphere. I would say that I have become more hard working, determined and possibly competitive. I feel that my communicative and team building skills would be an asset in this role, as I am an easy going and open minded person. I work well within big groups; however I am also able to work independently when required. My passion in life is to work towards a career in the media and I feel that if I was given this opportunity it would allow me to get the recognition I need.
