About me
In 1991, I graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing with a bachelor's degree in Set Design. Subsequently, I moved to the United States and obtained a master's degree in Computer Multimedia from the School of Visual Arts in New York. From 1999 to 2002, I worked for several start-ups in New York as a senior designer and art director, and my music website design was nominated at the Cannes International Advertising Festival. Alongside my work in New York, I actively engaged in experimental theater and video arts.
In early 2003, I returned to Shanghai and served as a creative director for various media companies or creative agencies, including Zhanghuan Studio, renowned for its contemporary art. Since 2009, I have been independently pursuing stage performances, space design, documentary production, film and television post-production, and consulting work in the fields of Cultural Tourism.
In 2013, I co-founded Seeds Studio and took charge of stage design for several major outdoor music festivals in Shanghai. Among them, my designs for the Storm EDM Festival were recognized as one of the most successful outdoor music festivals in China. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the music video I directed and edited for the song "Tomorrow Will Be Better" amassed a total of 30 million views.
With a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for avant-garde exploration and innovation, I excel in delivering creative content while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Having recently relocated to London, I am eager to continue pursuing my passion for visual and spatial design and contribute to the city's vibrant cultural scene.
