ABOUT
Concept:
We developed a new platform for Milton Keynes, ‘Better by Design’, reflecting Milton Keynes’ history of using contemporary and cutting-edge design thinking to continually reinvent itself and set the agenda for urban development in the UK – and beyond.
We then developed a whole series of digital identity content assets and a complete new design system that everyone who wants to access the campaign can download, access and use to promote the Milton Keynes story in a consistent way, telling the story everyone agrees we would like to frame around this poster child for town planning development.
We then developed campaign platforms and templates targeting potential new residents, businesses and investors, and visitors, to demonstrate how the new brand and design system could be brought to life.

Results:
We have carried out extensive roadshows visits across the city to introduce the new Milton Keynes story to all these groups, we continue to reach out and apply the work through multiple channels, give advice on execution and application, and we have made all assets freely available, including detailed style guides, on the council website. We are now working with the Milton Keynes team on developing new content, advertising, and marketing collateral as we push the campaign forward.
