About me

Luca Salvi is a young italian cinematographer based in Brussels, his work has been screened in some of the major film festivals around the world such as Energa Camerimage Art of Cinematogaphy, where he could also establish a first working relationship with Arri Rental by shooting a short film for them, short film that saw him winner of the Arri Short Film Contest 2021.
In the years he has tried to develop a unique style for each project he was part of, strongly believing that each story deserves its own unique visual imprint.
He graduated in 2021 from the SAE Institute of Brussels in Digital Film Production where he first got to experiment with different camera systems and lighting fixtures and previously worked as a freelancer in Rome in the realisation of music videos and collaborating with young aspiring directors as well as the Nationl Association of Filmmakers.
At the age of 17 Luca was hired for his first job in a little photography studio in the center of Rome where he had the chance to learn the basics of lensing and lighting as in the meantime he was learning the history and theory of cinema under the supervision of the UICC (Italian Union of Cinema Circles).
