Evocative of nature, my prints are earthy yet graphic with textural variation and rhythmic movement. Inspired by the beauty of earth's organic forms, its flora and fauna, and all things hand-made and hand-crafted, I also love to play with color, always looking for novel yet appealing combinations.

Exploration and discovery are a big part of my creative process. I typically begin with a mix of natural media - pencil, inks, gouache or watercolor and develop patterns digitally. I use Photoshop, Illustrator, and a few other apps along the way and when finalizing a design for production.

In addition to creating original designs, I enjoy collaborating with other designers and manufacturers, creating custom, brand-right designs for textiles and other products. Design and product development is fun and very satisfying. I love translating ideas and concepts into beautiful artwork, and I will never tire of seeing art come to life on a finished product that we live with and use in our everyday lives.

I continue to evolve as a designer, learning more about sustainable print and production processes and focusing on design collaborations and licensing. I am most interested in designing for the textiles, home decor, and wall-coverings markets, but am always open to new opportunities where I can add a bit more color, texture and patterned joy to the world.
