I have recently achieved a distinction as a cinematographer/editor/director on the 'MA in Film and Media' at Sheffield Hallam University. I have already gained extensive professional experience in film and video, from pre-production to post-production. I have worked as a camera man and editor in a multitude of corporate and private projects of which you can see a small selection at: *

I have my own equipment: HDV Canon XH-A1 digital camera, Manfrotto tripod, Sennheiser Mic, small lights set, editing system(Sony Vegas, Avid Xpress, AFX).

As my background is originally in multimedia / new media, I am very confident with the technical side of things. I have edited using tools such as Avid, Final Cut, Sony Vegas and Premiere. As far as Post-production is concerned, I have extensive knowledge of software such as After Effects, Combustion, Softimage XSI and 3DMAX. I have created DVDs using Encore and I am of course a skilled user of Photoshop and Flash, which I have taught at advanced level.

I would be keen to work in a variety of areas, in the cinematography department or working as an editor/visual effects operator.

I am a reliable and conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I am friendly and sociable and put people at their ease when I am filming.I have a clean driving licence and a car.
