Daniel has completed a volunteer placement for the Communications team at NDCS (The National Deaf Children's Society). He has been working for one day a week over a 12-week period. He was given a research and design brief to create concepts and rough visuals for a campaign which would get deaf young people interested in NDCS and the events that we run for them. The first part of the brief was to research how other organisations target young people with advertising and campaigns. Daniel researched well and presented his findings in an engaging manner. Due to tight resources in the office he quite often worked from home, which he was happy to do and got on with well. He always replied quickly to emails when working at home. During his time with us he has come across as an extremely confident individual who is happy to discuss any idea or challenge he comes across while working. We are grateful to Daniel for volunteering his time during a very busy period in his life. He has provided some great ideas for us to possibly take forward.
