About me

my candidate is a graduate of the BA Hons Transport Design course. Phillip is looking for work based in a design department.

Phillip has developed a lot of skills whilst at University. Some of his major projects involved setting up exhibitions to display his work. Philips course had a strong Photoshop basis; many final drawings were touched up or created in Photoshop and his final design boards were all created and layout using this software which means he have an advanced knowledge of the programme.

His four year University course involved a half year placement. In this time he decided to apply for graphic design rather than transport design related placement. Over a 12 week period, he worked nine weeks for Snowsports England, one week for the Scunthorpe Telegraph newspaper, he feels the highlight of his placement period was then a two week placement at Emap Automotive with Max Power magazine. Within the first week the Editor offered him a 3 month position as a Design repro-graphics and production assistant.

He is very flexible, enthusiastic, hard working, young with fresh ideas and dedicated to becoming a professional designer. Phillip's approach to work is very adaptable and he is a good communicator and an efficient worker who is able to keep to strict deadlines. His time keeping is excellent and Phillip can always be relied upon whatever job he is asked to do.
