Senior Freelance Fashion Designer, Freelance Activewear Designer, Freelance Sportswear Designer...it's a struggle to use one job title to label my role.

Having worked as a senior fashion designer on a range of projects. I'm just as comfortable designing activewear and sportswear as working on streetwear and fashion trend projects. I work on multi-product fashion ranges, covering both menswear and womenswear. I also design outerwear, performance, and workwear.

20 years of fashion design experience have helped me hone my design skills. No two fashion projects are the same. Each brief is unique and requires an understanding of the target audience demographic and product range. I pride myself on being professional and reliable, always making time for clients. Trends, fit, and consumers change, so I craft each project to suit the project brief.

My specialty is developing unique and original garments by blending technical design with on-trend streetwear design. The technicality of performance wear and activewear pushes the boundary of my design capabilities. Keeping up with fashion trends and creating stylish garments is my passion. I grew up with sportswear and streetwear giving me a strong connection to that product.
Originally from Brighton, I'm now based in the north, located between Manchester and Leeds. I have international design experience working as a senior fashion designer for Puma, based in Herzo, Germany for 5 years. I worked for 2 years at Umbro designing football performance wear. I also worked as a freelance activewear designer on projects for Adidas.

I work on sustainable fashion projects and have great sustainable manufacturing and textile contacts. Alongside my design work, I edit and write articles for my website SustainableUKfashion.com

My skills include Trend Analysis, Mood Boards, Colour Direction, Fashion Design CADs on Adobe Illustrator, Graphic Design, Tech Packs, Fashion Illustration, Merchandising, Problem Solving, Adobe InDesign, Size Charts, BOMs, Sample Development, and Fitting.

I have access to an amazing network of professionals to help with all areas of building a fashion brand. These include manufacturing, fashion e-commerce website design, fabric sourcing, garment technologists, and sustainability experts.

I understand the Direct to Consumer online approach to fashion marketing and how to maximize fashion design collections for social media retailing. I also work on seasonal collection timelines.
