About me

Hi, I'm Agathe!

I'm a video director, editor & creative Swiss army knife.
I have co-founded two creative video companies, while building an eclectic portfolio of commercials, branded content, music videos and art films, both scripted and unscripted. I also have been screenwriting, directing, cutting, executive producing and quality-coffee-making for myself and others for the past 20 years, both in France (where I'm from) and in the UK (thanks for adopting me).
I can join in on a project at the ideation stage and help with its conception and writing, work on a director's creative treatment based off a fleshed out idea, or jump in at the post production stage when you need a pair of discerning scissors.

I have worked with Tate, Barbican, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Google, Samsung, BT, Red Bull, Hyundai, Virgin, and many others.
Style-wise, know your paradoxes: my inner Wednesday Addams feels at home with the weird, moody, dark or dark-humour content, but my inner Britney will always say yes to a good upbeat video. I'm happy to summon either of.

I believe sense of pace and decision-making skills are key to any great film piece, and my experience as both an artist and a company leader allows me to take into account the storytelling and aesthetical aspects of a project, as well as its strategic elements.
