I am responding with interest to your ad for Online Creative Assistant

Having completed an Undergraduate degree in Professional Writing & Editing and Postgraduate Honours in Literary Studies and working in various communication-based fields such as Media Analysis and Human Resources, I recently moved to London from Australia in pursuit of opportunities in print publishing/editing.

I feel a have a lot to offer in that I am genuinely keen to pursue a publishing career; I am articulate, self driven and switched-on with a "can do" attitude and willingness to achieve, be flexible and make a valid creative contribution.

With five years of relevant academic experience, a passion for publishing, advertising and the media industry and sharp aptitude for writing and editing, I feel I would be well suited to the role. What I lack in on-the-job sub editing experience, I make up for with an excellent academic track record and genuine enthusiasm. I am willing to learn fast, strive for success, and work above and beyond expectation to benefit the company and my personal career longevity. I feel my previous work experience and university studies have armed me with majority of the skills required to perform at peak aptitude.
