About me

I graduated from a Creative and Media Writing degree with a 2:1 last year and am keen to work in script development, publishing or advertising. I'm currently employed in a role at ITV that requires me to have a keen eye for detail through the proofreading and editing of documents and am looking for a bigger challenge. I have been developing my own writing for a number of years and through this have gained skills and a creative style that I feel will enable me to forge a career in any of these fields through editing, copy writing or proofreading given the opportunity. I am interested in each of these roles across all of the areas I've listed in my profile and would also be interested in any form of script writing and script co-ordination.

I am a highly ambitious and creative person and am involved in many different personal projects such as stand up comedy, script writing and podcasting. For my University dissertation I arranged a successful literary festival and am extremely organised. I'm highly literate and am able to think quickly and logically where creative decisions need to be made and feel that any environment based on writing is one in which I would flourish and be an asset. I have a passion for reading and writing and working in a field allowing me to do these things in a professional sense would be a role I'm naturally suited to.
