About me

For the past 10 years I have worked on national newspapers including The Guardian, The Independent and The Mail on Sunday doing retouching, montage, colour correction, hand-tints, page pairing, picture archiving and associated studio duties.

I have an excellent knowledge of PhotoShop and QuarkXpress and am confident about expanding my skills in InDesign and web based programmes. I am fully conversant with the macintosh based platform, many scanners, the retrieval of images from digital files and image browsing software. I can effectively communicate with art directors, photographers and production managers. I am accustomed to working erratic and unsociable hours, as well as working to deadline with speed and accuracy.

The gap in my CV can be attributed to me taking a career break to travel to Asia, Australasia and South America.
