Bright and Beautiful is a Yorkshire brand creating handcrafted candles, wax melts, diffusers, and beauty products using natural ingredients. Inspired by the seasons and committed to ethical, sustainable production, their products are designed to soothe the soul and bring a touch of indulgence to everyday life.
THE CHALLENGE:
This start up brand needed a visual identity that reflected its natural roots and artisanal quality while feeling sophisticated and stylish. The aim was to create a brand that felt both high-end and approachable, appealing to customers seeking a sense of calm and connection with nature, without relying on overly rustic or traditional cues.
Alongside the brand identity, the project also required packaging and marketing elements that would translate the new look seamlessly across labels, printed materials, and promotional assets, ensuring a cohesive, recognisable presence both online and offline.
THE CONCEPT:
An identity rooted in nature and craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from the wildflower meadows surrounding the founder’s home. The brand icon features a delicately illustrated hand holding a flower, with a bee hovering above, a symbol of harmony, care, and the handmade essence of the products. The icon is framed within a softly rounded shape reminiscent of shampoo bars, reinforcing the tactile, crafted quality of the brand.
Elegant yet bold typography balances sophistication with approachability, while a deep green and bright yellow core palette evokes earthiness and vitality.
The brand icon was designed to be highly versatile, with elements that can be used individually, enlarged, or cropped to create dynamic, cohesive assets for packaging and marketing, ensuring the identity works seamlessly across all touchpoints.
