About me

In my current role as Projects Officer, I undertake all projects and marketing work with particular reference to parks, countryside, landscape, environmental development and biodiversity.

I not only have experience with managing on-site interpretation, external and internal website pages and leaflets for the section, my undertaking of marketing work for the Parks & Countryside Service places me as the representing officer for all communication and media enquiries. I am responsible for producing press releases on behalf of the Parks and Countryside Service and writing articles for a local newspaper. I therefore liaise with a communications team whilst independently working with various media outlets such as external newspapers and companies for high profile projects.

I work with a wide range of people from within my Projects and Strategy team to external consultants, schools, volunteers and the local community.

My work and volunteer experiences have in common an emphasis on communicating with the public effectively and working in partnership with various organisations for a common cause. I not only offer excellent organisational and communication skills, good judgement and strong interpersonal skills, my empathy with the cause of environmental conservation has been evident through my career choices thus far.
