About me

I just finished my MA dissertation on Comparative Studies - former Comparative Literature MA - Faculty of Letters University of Lisbon. My dissertation dealt with the constraints of weblogs and how they've become new media for literature.

However, my experience is not only academic. I worked with a London based removals company writing the content for their website. My job was essentially copyright, since I was given the information and had to make it presentable for the website, presently possessing a strong background of media theory to support my practical work. This position also included ensure that the website was fully functional and easy to access, close liaise with the other departments to make sure that everything was accordingly and fixing broken links, among some administrative duties.

Allying all this previous experiences to an academic formation on the arts and on new media, I am very good at connecting my online skills with my artistic education.

Despite being a more literature MA, I was able to obtain a good formation on arts, whether it's cinema, theater, photography, painting or music. But also popular culture manifestations.

My personal motivations led me through creative writing, both online and in printing press, publishing musical reviews, micro-narratives and short stories. I have various areas of interest, making me able to write about a different array of subjects.
