About me

I am a graphic designer, art director and creativity advocate. I love research, deceptively simple ideas, strategy and execution. I love places, faces, words and images. I love birthing brands and products. A few beliefs: Every brief big or small deserves TLC. The solution is simple, the problem complex not the other way round. If you're going to sell it, taste it. Believe in it wholeheartedly, no matter what your views are. During my work in agencies I have been responsible for conceptualising and executing design in communications campaigns on behalf of numerous brands. I currently work across entertainment, social and commercial design.
My design work stretches from Transport to beverages, to social causes and so on. Clients i've worked on include: Unilever, Greenpeace Africa, Absolut, SABC Radio, Absa, Levi's, Mandela Family, Coca Cola, MTN Vodacom and Toyota.
In 2013 I founded The Design Share Party, a design agency that advises clients on matters of brand and design, as well as hosting monthly events where artists are invited to share their work and inspiration. Some highlights of my career to date include co-designing the Nelson Mandela family crest, assisting in the design of South Africa's national emblem, and designing the logo for the Socio-Economic Rights Institute of South Africa (SERI). Throughout my life I have made it a point to not only mentor other designers but to learn from them too.
Over the years I have developed a passion for pursuing social change through design thinking and advocacy. I have a deep love for music, podcasting and DJ culture.
