When You Take A Stand aims to inspire women to stay true to themselves, and for women to inspire other women, fostering a sense of sisterhood and belonging. As Deepika Padukone, the central character of the film, puts it: “A big success for me is knowing that my accomplishments make it possible for others to do it as well.” With a full-female cast, Levi’s wanted to show that beauty comes through embracing each others’ true self, as well as your own.
